Core Values:

1.   The Presence of God

We are a people who are marked by His presence. It is our single greatest pursuit and passion. Everything we do is based on and centered on the life-changing, intimate presence of God. We seek it out of the realization of our great desperation for Him.

2.   Grace

You cannot be good enough to make God love you. You cannot be bad enough to make Him love you less. His love is not based on your actions or inactions. He loves you with an intense and perfect love that, once you truly understand it and encounter it, will change your life

3.   Sonship

The Bible says that it is through the spirit of sonship that we have been adopted into God's family. We are no longer slaves to our sinful desires, but we have been brought into God's household as His beloved sons and daughters. This identity is where we find true freedom. You are free to be who God created and purposed you to be!

4.   The Kingdom

Jesus instructed us that we were to seek the Kingdom of God to exist "on earth as it is in heaven." We are a people who no longer live according to the ways of this world, but according to His Kingdom. We live with the culture of Heaven in our minds and in our hearts and pursue the realities of His Kingdom to be established here on Earth as we spend our lives building that Kingdom.

5.   Honor

We are a people of honor. We believe that every single person was created by God with a plan, purpose, and identity that was good. We do not treat others according to how they act, but according to who God created them to be. We strive to live our lives according to the men and women that God created us to be - full of respect, integrity, love, courage, and perseverance.

6.   Community

Connect Church is a community where people come and find where they belong. It doesn't matter who you are, what you have been through, how you dress, or where you exist on the social ladder. We are all equal in the sight of God as beloved children. We believe not just in meeting together, but doing life together.

7.   Truth

Truth is not some theory, belief, or worldview. Truth is a person: Jesus Christ. The Bible says that He is the "way the truth and the life" (John 14:6). And we believe that an encounter with this Truth can have a massive impact on a person's life. We are all living proof of that! One of the ways we encounter Jesus is through His Word - the Bible. We focus great attention on searching out the deep truths of Scripture (which all reveals Jesus) and applying them to our lives. It is our guide for life in this world and the Kingdom as we see it built here on earth.
